In 2000, the Canadian Bank Note Co. entered the collector market with a set of twenty engraved vignettes, sold individually or as a set. These included scenes of trains, ships, logging, wildlife, and a few portraits. Many were legacy engravings from the time CBNC was a subsidiary of American Bank Note Co. The prints, on bond paper, were not widely advertised and were expensive; at $18 to $25 each or $365 per full set, relatively few were sold. These are the only known collector products released by CBNC.
