Apart from Portrait-Vignette (PV) cards, other collector products have been released by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, often in collaboration with the U.S. Mint. Some of these bear a strong resemblance to BEP souvenir cards, even sharing the same printing plates on occasion. In order to avoid confusion should the sets get separated, the SCCS decided to catalog the engravings. The first Coin and Currency set was issued in 2001; not all are included here but only those that contain intaglio vignettes, currency reprints, or foil embossed cards.
